Çocuklarda iletişim becerilerinin gelişiminde ve dil ve/veya konuşma sorunlarına yönelik müdahale sürecinde anneler önemli rol üstlenmektedir. Mothers play an important role in their child’s speech-language development. This study aimed to investigate the presence of depressive symptoms in mothers of children with speech and/or language problems. Depressive symptoms in mothers of children between 3-12 ages with phonological disorder (n=40), fluency disorder (n=34), and delayed speech-language (n=42) were investigated by comparing mothers of children without problems (n=45). Data were collected using a socio-demographic information form and Beck Depression Inventory (BDI). BDI scores of the mothers of children with delayed speechlanguage and phonological disorder were significantly higher than those of the mothers whose children have no problems (p 9, compared to fluency disorder and control groups.
