Bu çalışmanın amacı, psikolojik danışmanların etkili psikolojik danışman nitelikleri ve psikolojik danışma öz-yeterlik düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. Değişkenlerin cinsiyete, yaşa, öğrenim durumuna, çalışılan kuruma, meslekte çalışma süresine ve mezun olunan programa göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı da incelenmektedir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 100’ü kadın 66’sı erkek olmak üzere toplam 166 psikolojik danışman oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama araçları olarak Etkili Psikolojik Danışman Niteliklerini Değerlendirme Ölçeği, Psikolojik Danışma Öz-Yeterlik Ölçeği ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 22.0 programı kullanılarak Mann Whitney-U testi, Kruskal Wallis-H testi ve Spearman Brown Korelasyon Analizi kullanılmıştır. Bulgulara göre, psikolojik danışmanların etkili psikolojik danışman nitelikleri ile psikolojik danışma öz-yeterlikleri arasında istatistiksel olarak düşük düzeyde pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki vardır. Etkili psikolojik danışman nitelikleri ile psikolojik danışma öz-yeterlik düzeyleri cinsiyete, yaşa, çalışılan kuruma ve meslekte çalışma süresine göre farklılaşmamaktadır. Etkili psikolojik danışman nitelikleri ile psikolojik danışma öz-yeterlik düzeyleri öğrenim durumuna göre farklılaşmaktadır. Mezun olunan programa göre psikolojik danışma öz-yeterlik düzeylerinin farklılaşmadığı görülürken, etkili psikolojik danışman nitelikleri farklılaşmaktadır.

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between counselors’ effective counselor characteristics and counseling self-efficacy. Also, effective counselor characteristics and counseling self-efficacy are examined in terms of gender, age, education level, institutions the counselor work in, working time in profession, and graduated department. The sample of this study is formed of 100 female and 66 male, totally 166 counselors. Effective Counselor Characteristics Assessment Scale, Counselor Activity Self-Efficay Scales, and Personal Information Form were used to gather data. Mann Whitney-U test, Kruskal Wallis-H test and Spearman Brown Corelation Analysis were used to analyze the data by using SPSS 22.0. According to results, there is a significant positive low relation between the level of counselors’ effective counselor characteristics and counseling self-efficacy. The levels of counselors’ effective counselor characteristics and counseling self-efficacy do not change depending on gender, age, institution the counselor works in and working time. The levels of counselors’ effective counselor characteristics and counseling self-efficacy change depending on education level. The level of counselors’ counseling self-efficacy does not change depending on graduated department but the level of counselors’ effective counselor characteristics do change.
