Evlilik Olgunluk Ölçeğinin Geliştirilmesi

Bu çalışmada bireylerin evliliğe hazır olup olmadıklarını test etmek amacıyla hazırlanan Evlilik Olgunluk Ölçeğinin geçerlik, güvenirlik ve madde analizi çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Ölçeğin geliştirilme çalışmaları, bekâr bireylerden oluşan 623 kişi üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Ölçeğin geçerlik çalışmalarında açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ve ölçüt bağıntılı geçerlik çalışmaları gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yapılan faktör analizinde ölçeğin dört boyutlu olduğu saptanmıştır. Ölçekteki dört faktör toplam varyansın %60.91’ini açıklamaktadır. Ölçekte yer alan maddelerin faktör yük değerleri 0.42 ile 0.86 arasında değişmektedir. Ölçüt bağıntılı geçerlik çalışmalarında İnönü Evlilik Tutum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. İki ölçeğin korelasyon değeri r=0.72 (p=0.000) anlamlı bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin alt boyutlarının tamamının, toplam ölçekle anlamlı bir korelasyona sahip olduğu saptanmıştır. Ölçeğin birinci boyutunun cronbach alpha değeri 0.85, ikinci boyutunun cronbach alpha değeri 0.68, üçüncü boyutunun cronbach alpha değeri 0.80, dördüncü boyutunun cronbach alpha değeri 0.91 ve toplam ölçeğin cronbach alpha değeri 0.90 olarak belirlenmiştir. Test tekrar test sonuçları r=0.70, (p=0.000) anlamlı bulunmuştur. Madde analizi çalışmalarında alt %27’lik grupla, üst % 27’lik gruptaki bireylerin, tüm maddelerde anlamlı bir biçimde (p=0.000) ayrıştığı ortaya konmuştur. Ölçekte yer alan maddelerin madde toplam korelasyon değeri 0.40 ile 0.63 arasında çıkmıştır. Yapılan değerlendirmeler sonucunda Evlilik Olgunluk Ölçeğinin, bekâr bireylerin evlilik olgunluklarını ölçmede, geçerli ve güvenilir bir araç olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
The Development of Marital Maturity Scale
In this study, validity, reliability and item analysis studies of the Marital Maturity Scale prepared to test whether individuals are ready for marriage have been done. Studies of the development of the scale were made on 623 individuals, consisting of single adults. In the validity studies of the scale, explanatory and confirmatory factor analyses and criterion related validity studies were performed. Factor analysis revealed that the scale had four dimensions. The four factors in the measurement account for 60.91% of the total variance. The factor loadings of the items in the scale range from 0.42 to 0.86. Inonu Marriage Attitude Scale was used in the criterion related validity studies. Correlation value of the two scales r=0.72 (p=0.000) was found significant. It was determined that the subscales of the scale had a significant correlation with the total scale. The cronbach alpha value of the first dimension of the scale was 0.85, the cronbach alpha value of the second dimension of the scale was 0.68, the cronbach alpha value of the third dimension of the scale was 0.80, the cronbach alpha value of the fourth dimension of the scale was 0.91 and the cronbach alpha value of the total scale was 0.90. Test retest results r=0.70, (p=0.000) were found significant. In the item analysis studies, it was revealed that in the lower 27% group, the individuals in the upper 27% group were significantly different in all items (p=0.000). The item total correlation value of the items in the scale was between 0.40 and 0.63. As a result of the assessments, it was concluded that the Marital Maturity Scale was a reliable and valid instrument to measure marital maturity of single adults
