Ganser sendromu histerik demansın bir varyantı olarak kabul edilmektedir. Sorulara saçma ve yaklaşık cevaplar vermekle karakterize olan Ganser sendromu amnezi, disoriyentasyon, algısal bozukluklar, füg ve konversiyon gibi diğer semptomlarla da genellikle birlikte olur. Bu sendromun ayırıcı tanısı oldukça problemlidir. Ganser sendromlu bir vakayı sunmak istiyoruz. Hastaneye yatırılışında stuporoz depresyon tanısı alan hastanın klinik gözlem ve görüşmeler sonucunda tanısı Ganser sendromu olarak değiştirildi. Ganser sendromunu genel anlamda ve özellikle hastamızın durumu üzerinde tartışacağız.
