Yetiştirme Yurdu Yaşantısı Geçiren Lise Öğrencilerinin Yalnızlık Düzeyleri

Bu araştırmada, Malatya Yetiştirme Yurdu'nda kalan lise öğrencilerinin yalnızlık düzeyi incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın evreni; Malatya ili merkezinde bulunan Malatya Kız Yetiştirme Yurdu ve Malarya Erkek Yetiştirme Yurdu’nda kalan ve lise öğrenimine devan eden tüm öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise Malatya il merkezindeki toplam 10 Lise'ye devam eden ve Malatya Kız ve Erkek Yetiştirme Yurdu’nda kalan 13-18 yaş arasındaki 104 lise öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada ergen öğrencilerin yalnızlık düzeyi "UÇLA Yalnızlık Ölçeği" ile yetiştirme yurdunda kalan ergen öğrencilerin kişisel niteliklerine ilişkin bilgiler ise "Öğrenci Kişisel Bilgi Formu" ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesi amacıyla "Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi", "Bağımsız Örneklem Grupları İçin t-Testi" ve "Scheffe Testi" kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; yetiştirme yurdu yaşantısı geçiren ergen öğrencilerin yalnızlık düzeyinin çeşitli değişkenlere göre istatistiksel olarak önemli düzeyde farklılık gösterdiği saptanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlar tartışılmış ve bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The Loneliness Levels of the High School Students Living in an Orphanage
In this research, loneliness levels of the high school students living in an orphanage were investigated. The population of the research consists of the students who
recide in the Orphanage for Boys and the Orphanage for Girls in Malatya, and continue their education in high school. The sample of the research comprises 104 students betvveen 13-18 ages who study at 10 high schools in the province of Malatya and live in the two Orphanages for Boys and Girls in Malatya. In this research, loneliness levels of the students were determined using "UCLA Loneliness Scale" and peisonal information of the students staying in the orphanage was collected using "Student Personal Info Form". To analyze the data, One-Way ANOVA, Independent-Sample t-Test" and "Scheffe Test" were used. At the end of the research, it was seen that loneliness levels of the adolescent students living in an orphanage were found statistically significant with respect to some various variables. The findings of the research were discussed and some suggestions were offered.
