Bu çatışmada, çağdaş bir okul rehberlik ve psikolo¬jik danışma programı olan Kapsamlı Rehberlik Program Modeli İncelenmektedir. Kapsamlı Rehberlik Program Modeli, A.B.D. Missouri Üniversitesinde Norman C. Gysbers tarafından geliştirilmiştir. Bu prog¬ram modelinin tanıtılmasının iki temel gerekçesi vardır. Bunlar: l) somut ve kavramsal bir temelinin olması, 2} okullarda yoğun ve başarılı bir şekilde uygulanması sonucunda geçerliliğinin kanıtlanmasıdır. Yazıda, önce okul rehberliği ve danışmanlığı alanındaki geleneksel örgüt modelleri, kapsamlı rehberlik program modelinin tarihsel gelişimi ve niteliği İncelenmektedir. Daha sonra, program modelinin sayıltıları, öğeleri ve örgütsel yapısı hakkında ayrıntılı bilgi verilmektedir. Ayrıca, söz konusıı program modelinin ülkemiz okullarında uygulanmasına ilişkin bazı öneriler sunulmaktadır.

in this study, a contemporary school guidance and counseling program, Comprehensive Guidance Program Model, is reviewed. Comprehensive Guidance Program Model w as developed by Norm an C. Gysbers at t he University of Missouri in U.S. A. The two main reasons for presenting this program ar e t hat the program l) have a solid conceptual foundalion and 2) be field validated through extensive and successful use in school programs. fn the article, at firsi, the traditional organizational patterns in school guidance and counseling field, the historical development and the natiire of the comprehensive guidance program model are revieived. Then, the assumptions, the elements and the organizational frames work of the program model are esplained in detail. Besides, some recommendations related to practicing this program model in Turkish schools are made.
