Üniversiteli ve İşçi Gençliğin Gelecek Beklentileri ve Kötümserlik-İyimserlik Düzeyleri

Endüstrinin İsteklerine göre eğitim gören üniversiteli gençlik ve endüstriyel Üretimde yer alan İşçi gençlik kent ortamında geleceğe nasıl bakmaktadırlar? Bu soruya cevap aramak üzere 1994 yılında İstanbul'da yapılan araştırmada 16-24 yaş grubundaki gençler incelenmiştir. Bulgular bir anket ve Scheier ve Carwer'in "Yaşam Yönelimi Testi" aracılığıyla elde edilmiştir.
1- Araştırma bulguları göstermiştir ki; üniversiteli gençlik geleceğe güvenle bakmada öğrenime birinci derecede yer vermemektedirler. Çok çalışma %57.6 oranla birinci neden, eğitim %34.5'le ikinci neden olarak gösterilmiştir.
2- Üniversiteli gençlerin gelecekte beklentileri %36.7 oranla iyi bir iştir ve %27.7 oranınla sıcak dostluk ilişkisidir.
3- Üniversiteli gençliğin daha bağımsız ve iyimser (%49.0) olduğu gözlenmiştir.
4- İşçi gençlik gelecekte %34 oranında daha Çok İyi bir eş istemektedirler. Onların zaten işleri vardır. 5- İşçi gençliğin daha bağımlı ve kötümser (%60.9) olduğu gözlenmiştir.
Toplumun geleceğini yönlendirecek gençlerin gelecek beklentisi bakımından daha iyimser olmalarında yarar vardır. Bu durum sağlıklı ve umutlu bir toplumu hazırlayacaktır.
Future Expectations of University Students and Youngworkers and Their Levels of Optimism and Pessimism
How do the university youth educated according to the needs of the industry and the working youth in industrial labor force orient themselves toward the future in urban environment? To study this question, young people who are between 16-24 age investigated in this research carried out in Istanbul, in 1994. The findings are obtained with a questionnaire and the Scheir and Carwer's "Life Orientation Test".
1- The finding show that university students don't give primary importance to education. Working hard with 576.% is the first importance, education with 34.5% is the second. 2- The expectations of university students for the future are good job with 35.7% and a sociable atmosphere with 27.7%.
3- University youth are more independent and pessimistic with 49.0% towards the future.
4- Working youth want to get married a good partner with 34.0%.
5- Working youth are more dependt but optimist with 60.9%
it is essential that the youth who will give shape to the future of society have optimitic expectations for the future.
