Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Çiftler Arası Şiddeti Kabul Düzeylerini Etkileyen Etmenler

Bu çalışmada üniversite öğrencilerinin çiftler arası şiddeti kabul düzeylerinde cinsiyet ve daha önce ilişki yaşama durumuna göre anlamlı bir fark olup olmadığı; çiftler arası şiddeti kabul düzeyleri ile akılcı olmayan inançlar, eğer ilişki yaşadıysa sayısı ve ilişkinin süresine göre anlamlı bir ilişki olup olmadığı incelenmiştir. Çalışma grubunu 2012-2013 öğretim yılında bir devlet üniversitesinde öğrenimine devam eden ve yakın ilişkisi olan toplam 256 üniversite öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak, Çiftler Arası Şiddeti Kabul Ölçeği - Üniversite Formu, İlişkilerde İnanç Envanteri ve araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçları incelendiğinde üniversite öğrencilerinin çiftler arası şiddet kabul düzeylerinde cinsiyete göre anlamlı fark olduğu ve çiftler arası şiddeti kabul düzeylerinin çaresizlik inancı, sevilemezlik inancı ve ilişkinin süresi ile de ilişki gösterdiği görülmüştür. Bununla birlikte öğrencilerin daha önce ilişki yaşama durumlarına ve daha önce ilişki yaşadılarsa ilişki sayısına göre çiftler arası şiddeti kabul düzeylerinde anlamlı fark bulunmamıştır.
Factors That Influence Level of Couple Violence Acceptance Among University Students
In this research, it was examined that whether the acceptance of partner violence among the
university students differ according to the gender and if the person had relationship before; if there is
a correlations between the acceptance of partner violence and irrational beliefs, the number and the
duration of this relationship. Study group of this research was comprised with 256 university students
who study in one of the state university and have relationship at the moment. Acceptance of Couple
Violence Scale, Relationship Belief Inventory and Personal Information Form were used in this study to
collect data. According to results of this study, it was found that university students’ acceptance level of
couple violence differ by gender and there is significant correlation between acceptance level of couple
violence and helplessness belief, unlovability belief, duration of relationship. In addition to this result,
it was found that university students’ acceptance level of couple violence do not differ by the state that
person had relationship before and number of relationship.
