İntihar Girişimlerinde Ümitsizlik ve Depresyon

İntihar girişiminde bulunan olgularda ümitsizlik ile intihar niyeti şiddeti ve depresyonun İlişkisi araştırılmıştır. Sonuçlar depresyon ve intiharda ümitsizliğin ortak bir faktör olduğunu desteklemektedir. Ümitsizlik İntihar girişiminin ciddiyetine göre depresyonla daha yakından İlişkilidir.

Depression and Hopelessness in Suicide Attempts

Depression, hopelessness and suicidal intent were examined in individuals attempting suicide. Results indicated that hopeiessnes and depression are common denominators in suicide attempts. The seriousness is more associated with depression than hopelessness.
