Kum Oyunu Terapisi: Kurumsal Bilgiler ve Bir Olgu Örneği

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ülkemizde henüz yeterince tanınmayan kum oyunu terapisinin en belirgin özelliklerini
tanıtmaktır. Bu amaçla yazıda, kum oyununun önce tarihsel gelişimi, kullanım alanları ve kum
oyunu ile ilgili pratik genel kurallar verilmiştir. Ayrıca, kum oyununda danışmanın rolü, terapötik teknikler
ve terapi süreci ile kısa bir bilgi verildikten sonra bir olgu örneği özetlenmiştir. Son olarak, Türkiye
için bazı sonuç ve öneriler ilgili yazın ışığında irdelenmiştir.
Sandplay Therapy: Theoretical Basics and a Case Study
The purpose of this article is to give a brief introduction to sandplay therapy and its wide range of use
in the fi eld of therapy. The origins of sand play therapy goes back to child therapy, however, today it
is widely used in a variety of settings both as an assessment and as an intervention tool. The historic
origins of sand play, its main characteristics, its application as an assessment and intervention tool and
its specific application in the context of a case study are summarized. Finally, future directions for its use
in Turkish culture are discussed.
