Almanya'da Yaşayan Göçmen Türk Kadınlarının Odak Grup Görüşmesi ile Belirlenen Sorunlarına Yönelik Bir Grup Danışmanlığı Çalışması

Amaç: Araştırma, Almanya'nın bir şehrinde yaşayan göçmen Türk kadınlarının sorunlarının belirlenmesi ve bu sorunlara yönelik gerçekleştirilen grup danışmanlığının değerlendirilmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir.
Yöntem: Kalitatif yöntemin kullanıldığı bu araştırma, sorunların belirlenmesi ve grup danışmanlığı verilmesi olmak üzere 2 kısımdan oluşmuştur. Araştırmanın örneklemini Caritas adlı sosyal yardımlaşma merkezine başvurmuş olan 26 Türk kadını oluşturmuş, veri toplama yöntemi olarak odak grup görüşmesi kullanılmıştır. Değerlendirilme, döküm ve içerik analizi olarak 2 aşamada gerçekleştirilmiş ve sorunlar NANDA (North American Nursing Diagnosis Association) sınıflamasına göre belirlenmiştir. Sorunlara yönelik gerçekleştirilen grup danışmanlığında, bilişsel yeniden yapılandırma uygulamaları ve yardımcı teknik olarak psikodrama kullanılmıştır. Son bir odak grup görüşmesiyle danışmanlık değerlendirilmiştir.
Bulgular: Sorunlar bedensel, ruhsal ve sosyal sorunlar olarak gruplandırılmıştır. Bedensel sorunlar baş ve eklem ağrıları, gastrik şikâyetler, yorgunluk ve çarpıntıdan oluşmaktadır. Duygusal sorunlar yalnızlık, öfke ve depresif duygulanım, sosyal alandaki sorunlarsa bağımlılık, eğlence faaliyetlerinde değişim, sosyal izolasyon ve etkisiz toplumsal baş etmedir. Gerçekleştirilen grup danışmanlığının sorun alanlarında önemli farklılıklar meydana getirdiği tesbit edilmiştir.
Tartışma: Bilişsel yeniden yapılandırma uygulamalarının, duygusal alanda yalnızlık ve öfke sorunlarına olumlu etkileri bulunurken sosyal alanda ise bu etkiler etkisiz toplumsal baş etme sorununda gözlenmiştir. Yardımcı teknik olarak kullanılan psikodrama uygulamalarıysa bedensel ve duygusal sorunlara etki ederken bu sorunlardan olan baş ağrısı, gastrik şikâyetler, öfke ve depresif duygulanımda olumlu etkileri gözlenmiştir.
Kadınlar gibi risk gruplarına anadilde grup danışmanlığı hizmeti verilmesi ve bu danışmanlıkta kişilerin kendilerini psikososyal ve psikosomatik sorunlar dışında daha etkin ifâde edebilmeleri için bilişsel yeniden yapılandırma ve psikodrama gibi uygulamalara yer verilmesi önerilmektedir.
A Group Counseling Study for the via Focus Group Conversation Methodology Identified Problems of Turkish Immigrant Women Living in Germany
Objective: The study aims to determine the problems of the female Turkish immigrants, who live in a German city and to evaluate the group counseling, which was intended for the determined problems.
Methods: This study used qualitative methods consists of two stages as problems identification and group counseling. Sampling is made out of 26 Turkish women, who applied to a social solidarity centre called 'Caritas' and it is chosen focus group interviews as data collection methodology.
The data is evaluated in two stages as transcript data and content analysis. The problems have been determined by NANDA (North American Nursing Diagnosis Association) Classification. On the group counseling, cognitive restructuring model has been practiced to the identified problems and psychodrama was used as help technique. The evaluation of the study has made by the researcher at a evaluation focus group interview after the counseling sessions.
Findings: The results of this study are grouped as physical, emotional and social problems. The pain of the head and arthritis, gastric problems, fatigue and palpitation are composed of physical problems. Emotional problems are loneliness, anger and depressive symptoms; social problems are dependence, change in the entertainment interests, social isolation and ineffective community coping at the social problems area. It has been found that the group counseling has made some notable changes for the problem areas.
Discussion: The cognitive restructuring practices during the counseling have made a positive effect on loneliness and anger problems. In the social field, the same positive effects have been observed on ineffective community coping. No change has been observed on physical problems. The psychodrama techniques, which were used a help technique, have affected physical and emotional problems as headaches, gastric problems, anger and depressive symptoms and it has been observed positive effects on them.
It is recommended to provide group counseling services in mother tongue to the risk groups as women and in the group counseling should be preferred practices such as cognitive restructuring and psychodrama to express them more efficiently excluding psychosocial and psychosomatic problems.
