Human being is the living being that is able to utilize his/her thumb most capably thanks to its neurological equipments. S/he is the only species having the proficient physical equipment to be able to draw pictures thanks to this capability of him/her. However, physical equipments enriched with the neurological possibilities are not the only condition to be able to draw pictures. Drawing is a kind of symbolization just like the [language]. It is a requirement for symbolization to be able to separate and re-personate through representation of the thing of which separation s/he manages to accept in his mind. Separation and impersonation are both possible through long, grueling and an intense endeavor. Following the development of the [language] of expression, it is drawing of a human that can also be given meaning by the others throughout the drawing adventure that is first seen with scribbling. This first drawing of a human has a head, a face, arms and legs. The drawing of the other objects only follows this. It is strange that the drawing that follows is a Sun. The sun through whose reflections we are enlightened, warms the primitive man.
All this order of drawing is not certainly a coincidence. The motherhood functions of Winnicott and Bion's concepts of "the development of thought with the reversing function of the mother" together with the concept of "skin ego" that is shaped by the contributions of Bick and Anzieu will be utilized, as well.
