Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin sağlıklı yaşam biçimi davranışları ve öz-bakım gücü düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Giriş: Araştırma, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin sağlıklı yaşam biçimi davranışları ve öz-bakım gücü düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi ama-cıyla planlanmıştır.
Yöntem: Araştırma, Mayıs 2009 tarihinde Ege Üniversitesi Ödemiş Sağlık Yüksekokulu’nda 135 hemşirelik öğrencisi üzerinde yapılmıştır. Etik onam, araştırmanın yapıldığı okulun etik komitesinden alınmıştır. Veriler anket formları ile toplanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Tanı-tım Bilgi Formu, kendini gerçekleştirme, sağlık sorumluluğu, egzersiz, beslenme, kişilerarası destek ve stres yönetimi olarak 6 alt ölçeği olan Sağlıklı Yaşam Biçimi Davranışları Ölçeği (SYBDÖ) ve Öz-bakım Gücü Ölçeği (ÖBGÖ) kullanılmıştır. Verilerin istatistiksel analizleri SPPS 11.0 programı ile sayı ve yüzde, ortalama, t testi, korelasyon, Kruskal Wallis kulla-nılmıştır.
Bulgular: Araştırma kapsamına giren hemşirelik öğrencilerinin yaş ortalaması 21.58±1.68, 97% kadın, 2.2%’sinin genel sağlık algısı kötü, 14%’ünün beden kitle indeksinin normalden yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. SYBDÖ puan ortalaması 128.42±19.48, kendini gerçekleş-tirme 38.60±6.29, sağlık sorumluluğu 24.68± 5.37, egzersiz 10.08±3.18, beslenme 15.43± 3.38, kişilerarası destek 21.03±3.56, stres yönetimi 17.97±3.50, ÖBGÖ puan ortalaması 99.09±20.03’dür. ÖBGÖ puan ortalaması ile genel sağlık algısı arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur (p<0.05).
Sonuç: SYBD ile ÖBG düzeyleri arasında istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur (p<0.001).
The examination of the relation between the healthy life style behaviors and self-care agency levels of the nursing students
Introduction: The research is made with aim of the examination of the relation between the healthy life style behaviors and self-care agency levels of the nursing students.
Methods: The research was made with 135 nursing students that have been taken nursing education in Ege University Medical School of Odemis on May 2009. It was accepted ethical approval from ethical committee of school which was practiced on research. Data were collected with survey forms. Survey forms consist of Identification Information Form, Healthy Life Style Behaviors Scale (HLSBS) which has six subscales, and Self-Care Agency Scale (SCAS). The statistical evaluating of data was used number and percent, t test, corre-lation, Kruskal Wallis with SPSS 11.0 program.
Results: It was derived from the research that 97% of the nursing students participating in the research are female, the mean age of those is 21.58±1.68, 2.2% of those are bad of their general state of health, and 14% of those are higher than normal of body mass index. The mean point of HLSBS is 128.42±19.48. The mean point of self-realization is 38.60±6.29. The mean point of health responsibility is 24.68±5.37. The mean point of exercise is 10.08±3.18. The mean point of nourishment is 15.43±3.38. The mean point of interpersonal support is 21.03±3.56. The mean point of coping with stress is 17.97±3.50. The mean point of SCAS is 99.09±20.03. There is a positive correlation between general state of health and the mean point of SCAS (p<0.05).
Conclusion: There was a positive correlation between the levels of the healthy life style behaviors and the self-care agency (p<0.001).
