Tebliğde Şizofreni ve P. M. D. tipinde iki grup psikozun ilişkileri, hasta obje münasebetleri esasından bağlanarak mukayese edilmiş ve bilhassa Müdafaa reaksiyonları üzerinde durulmuştur.
Müdafaa reaksiyonlarının ehemmiyeti tebarüz ettirilmiş ve bunların tutmaması hallerinde «Regresyon fenomeninin» çıktığı belirtilmiştir.
Bu şekilde Nevroz ve Psikozlarda görülen arazın «Bu müdafaa reaksiyonları ile regresyon yapılan devre belirtilerinden meydana geldiği ifade edilmiştir».
İki Psikozun Psikodtnamizmaları ve Klinik tezahüratının müşterek tarafları zikredildikten sonra, P. M. D. tipinin tutmayan müdafaa reaksiyonları sebebile en arkaik oral regresyona geçerek Şizofreni tipi bir Psikoza kayması ihtimaline işaret edilmiştir.

In this paper, the Author has investigated the relations between Schizophrenia and P. M. D. and has given the greatest importance to the connexions between the patient and the object, and the defence mechanisms. The importance of defence reactions and the fact that if they are not successful, the regression phenomenons appears, has been expounded.
After the psychodynamisms of these two psychoses and the common characteristics of clinic symptoms have been shown, a struggle has been made to indicate that P. M. D. can recede to the oral phase which is the most primitive of the defence mechanisms, and can result in Schizoprenia.
