Subakut sklerozan panensefalit (SSPE), santral sinir sisteminin kötü prognoz ve yüksek mortalite gösteren progresif inflamatuar bir hastalığıdır. Klinik, başlangıçta entellektüel kötüleşme ve davranış değişiklikleri, takibinde myoklonus ve sonunda komplet nörolojik kötüleşme ile seyreder. Biz burada, depresyon bulgularıyla atipik başlayan, daha önce kızamığa karşı immünize olmuş 22 yaşındaki kadın SSPE olgusunu sunduk.
