Atipik antipsikotikler bir taraftan bipolar bozukluk tedavisinde yaygın olarak kullanılırlarken, diğer taraftan manik ve hipomanik durumlara yol açabilmektedir. Burada sunduğumuz olguda, şizofrenili erkek bir hastada sertindol tedavisinin başlamasından sonra ortaya çıkan bir hipomanik atak tanımlanmıştır.
