Stroop Testi TBAG Formu'nun 6-11 Yaş Grubu Çocuklarda Standardizasyon Çalışması

Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı Stroop Testi TBAG Formu'nun 6-11 yaş grubu denekler üzerinde norm değerlerini belirlemek, testin test-tekrar test yöntemiyle güvenirlik çalışmasını yapmak, testin ölçtüğü bilişsel özelliklerin (ketleme ve dikkat) gelişimini değerlendirmek ve bu gelişime yaş/sınıf ve cinsiyet değişkenlerinin etkisini belirlemektir.Yöntem: Çalışmanın örneklemini 72-132 ay (6-11 yaş) arası 1.- 5. sınıfta okuyan 402 denek oluşturmuş, denekler yaş/sınıf ve cinsiyetin düzeylerine dengeli olarak dağılmıştır. Birinci sınıf 72-84 ay, 2. sınıf 85-96 ay, 3. sınıf 97-108 ay, 4. sınıf 109-120 ay ve 5. sınıf 121-132 ay aralığında yer alan öğrencilerden oluşmuştur. Bulgular: Stroop Testi TBAG Formu tamamlama süresi puanları için 92 denekten test-tekrar test tekniği ile hesaplanan güvenirlik katsayıları incelendiğinde güvenirlik katsayılarının .63 ile .81 arasında değiştiği ve tüm katsayıların anlamlı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada Stroop Testi TBAG Formu'nun uygulanmasından elde edilen süre puanları güvenilir bulunmuş ve analizler bu puanlar üzerinden yürütülmüştür. Bölüm 4 ve 5 tamamlama süreleri puanlarında ise cinsiyet temel etkisi anlamlı bulunmuştur. Yaş/sınıf x cinsiyet ortak etkisinde Stroop Testi TBAG Formu Bölüm 3 süre puanlarında anlamlı fark bulunmuştur. Tartışma: Araştırmanın bulguları yaş/sınıf artışına paralel olarak tüm süre puanlarının kısaldığını ve bu etkinin anlamlı olduğunu göstermiştir. Bulgular ilgili yazın bağlamında tartışılmıştır.
The Standardization Study of the Stroop Test TBAG Form in Children Between 6-11 [year]s of Age
Objective: The aim of this study is; 1) to find the norms of the Stroop Test TBAG Form in the 6-11 [year] old age group, 2) to conduct a reliability analysis by the test-retest method, 3) to assess the development of the cognitive properties such as attention and inhibition which the test measures and 4) to find the age/grade and sex effects on the development of cognitive properties. Method: The subjects were 402 students 1st through 5th grades, between the ages of 6-11 (72-132 [month]s). The subjects were equally distributed to age/grade and sex groups. The first grade students were between 72-84 [month]s, second grade students were between 85-96 [month]s and 3rd, 4th and 5th grades were between 97-108, 109-120 and 121-132 [month]s respectively. Results: Test-retest reliability analysis was conducted on 92 subjects.The reliability coefficients for the time scores were found to change between .63 and .81. The time scores were found to be reliable, thus further analysis were conducted on these scores. Sex main effect was found for the time scores of the 4th and 5th parts. Age/grade x sex interaction effect was significant for the part three time score. Discussion: The results of this study indicated that all time scores decreased as age/grade increased and this was statistically significant. The results were discussed in the light of the literature.
