Amaç: Bu çalışma anksiyete bozukluklarını birbirinden ayıran özellikleri araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Yöntem: Bu araştırmada DSM-III-R Anksiyete Bozuklukları kriterlerine göre tanı almış 74 hastada, dört anksiyete alt kategorisinin (yaygın anksiyete bozukluğu, agorafobili panik, agorafobisiz panik ve obsessif-kompulsif bozukluk) Dört Sistem (duygu, biliş, davranış ve bedensel) Endişe Envanteri (DSEE) verilerek elde edilen anksiyete profili incelenmektedir. Ayrıca duygu ve biliş sistemleri arasındaki ilişki her alt anksiyete kategorisinde araştırılmıştır. Bulgular ve Tartışma: DSEE profillerinin değişik anksiyete alt kategorilerinde, literatürdeki bulgulara da paralel olarak, farklı olduklarını göstermiş ve duygu ve biliş sistemlerinin birbiriyle etkileşen fakat temelde ayrı oldukları görüşünü desteklemiştir. Ansiyete ölçümünün dört sistem açısından yapılmasının, sorunun daha detaylı anlaşılmasına yardımcı olacağı görüşü belirtilmiştir.

Objective: The aim of this study is to examine the characteristics of anxiety disorders that differentiate them from each other. Method- The present study investigates ESAQ profiles of 74 anxiety patients diagnosed according to DSM-IITR criteria. Four anxiety sub-categories (generalized anxiety disorders, panic with agoraphobia, panic without agoraphobia and obsessive-compulsive disorders) were included in the study. The study also examines the relationship between cognitive and affective components of anxiety in each anxiety disorder sub-category. Results and conclusions: Results indicate that anxiety profiles of patients obtained with the application of FSAQ are parallel to the clinical findings . Furthermore the results suggest that affective and cognitive components can be conceptualized as partially independent systems. Clinical implications of these findings are discussed.
