Adli Psikiyatri Hastasının Bakımında Hemşirenin Rolü

Suç işleyen ve ruh sağlığı bozuk olan bireye sunulan
sağlık hizmetleri, ekip çalışmasını gerektirir
ve adli psikiyatri hemşiresi de bu ekibin önemli
bir parçasını oluşturur. Hem suçlu, hem de ruh
sağlığı bozuk bireylerle çalışmak ve kişisel güvenliği
sürdürmek kolay değildir. Bu nedenle, adli
psikiyatri hastasına bakım veren hemşirelerin, adli
psikiyatri hastasının fiziksel, psikolojik, sosyal,
ruhsal, ekonomik ve kültürel durumunu bütüncül
bir bakış açısıyla değerlendirebilen, sosyal ve
pratik yaşam becerilerini geliştirmeleri için onları
destekleyen ve cesaretlendiren ve adli terminolojiyi
bilen, uzmanlaşmış bireyler olması gerekmektedir.
Bu bağlamda, hem güvenliğin, hem de
bireye yönelik fiziksel ve ruhsal bakımın sağlanacağı
bir sağlık bakımını sunmada, sağlık ekibinin
önemli bir üyesi olan adli psikiyatri hemşirelerinin
rolü ve önemi inkar edilemez. Ayrıca, yasal olarak
davalı olan kişinin, güvenli bir ortamda, bakım,
tedavi, rehabilitasyon ve bireysel yönetimini sağlamada,
adli psikiyatri hemşiresinin önemli katkıları
yadsınamaz.
Role of Nurse Upon Care Of Forensic Psychiatric Patient
The health services served to the people who is
offender and who has mental illness require team
work and forensic psychiatry nurse constitutes an
important part of this team. It is not easy to work
with the individuals who are both offenders and
have mental illnesses, and to continue thepersonal safety. Therefore, the nurses taking care
of the forensic psychiatry patients must be the
individuals, who can evaluate the forensic
patients’ physical, psychological, social, mental,
economical and cultural situations with a
totalitarian viewpoint, who can support and
encourage them to improve their social and
practical life abilities, and who know the forensic
terminology and who are specialized. In this
sense, in serving a health care in which both
safety and the physical and mental care of the
patient will be provided, the role and importance
of the forensic psychiatry nurses who are an
important member of health team cannot be
denied. Also, forensic psychiatry nurse’s
contribution cannot be disclaimed in providing
the constitutionally respondent patient’s care,
treatment, rehabilitation and individual
management in a safe environment.
