Türkiye’de 2005 yılında yürürlüğe giren Ceza Yasasının çeşitli bölümlerinde algılama yeteneğinde bozuklukla gelişen durumlar belirtilmektedir. Eski yasaya göre bazı farklılıklar gösteren bu yeni ceza yasasında yeni kavramlardan bir tanesi de “algılama yeteneğinin bozulması” kavramıdır. Bu yazıda yasada nitelikli hal olarak birçok maddede belirtilen algılama yeteneğinin bozulmasının adli olgularda nasıl değerlendirileceği, bu terimin hukukçu, psikiyatrist ve adli tıp uzmanı olarak nasıl yorumlandığı konuları irdelenmiştir.

Although psychiatric comorbidity is a well known subject among drug abusers, there is not enough information about this subject in Turkey. In our study, we analyzed psychiatric comorbidity and sociodemographic data of drug abusers. Drug abusers who examined in the fourth committee in the Council of Forensic Medicine between 1997 and 2000 were included into the study. Cases were mostly male (98.2 %), married (% 71 %) and between 20 and 50 [year]s of old (82.5 %). 20 percent of cases were farmers. The most common crimes were selling and using drug. Drugs were mostly cannabis, crude jute and heroin. The fourth committee decided only 2 % of abusers were considered as addicts. The most common psychiatric diagnosis among abusers was antisocial personality disorder.
