Normal okullarda ruh sağlığı yardımına muhtaç pek çok çocuk vardır. Problemli çocuk oranı % 10 dan fazladır. Bütün çocukların uzun süreli incelenmeleri bu oranı arttıracaktır. Bu problemler çokluk sırasına göre Davranış kusurları, Geri zekâlılık, konuşma kusurları olarak gelmektedir. Sebepler, normal okul çocuklarında, başlıca çevreseldir. Bu inceleme sadece 6 milyon ilk okul çağında çocuğu olan Türkiyede Çocuk psikolojik problemlerinin ve anormal çocuklar dâvasının önemini ortaya koyar.

The author in association with two psychologists has exampled 110 children from the Kara Ahmet Pasa primary school. These 110 children were selected from 700 children on account of their pre-sentation as problem children by their teachers. These children were investigated by using psychologic and psychometric methods. The results were :
11 % problematic children, 5 % mental deficiency, 3 % beha¬vior disorders, 1,5 % speech disorders.

Among this 110 families, 78 father has jobs, but 9 has anyone, 21 families has only one room to habit, 9 is broken-home.
The author claims that in Turkey there are no instutitions for handicaped (mentally) children, and that a selectin is necessary from the point of view of psychologic and psychometric standards, in the primary schools.
