Bu makalede felaketlerin psikolojik etkileri, bireysel ve toplumsal boyutta gözden geçirilmiştir. Felaketlerde krize müdahalenin yeri ve önemi üzerinde durularak uygulamada krize müdahale yöntemi ana hatlarıyla verilmiştir. Krize müdahalenin koruyucu ruh sağlığı hizmetleri içindeki önemi vurgulanmıştır. Gelecekte felaketlerdeki ilk yardım çalışmalarında kolay uygulanabilir bir yöntem olarak sunulmuştur.

In this article, the individual and social aspects of disasters on psychological well-being has been reviewed.The importance of crises intervention has been stressed and general principles of the crises intervention techniques has presented in the practical basis. There has been mentioned that crisis intervention has a important role in the preventive psychiatry. Also, this techniques can be early applied for the future disasters.
