In turkish mythology, it is possible to find that creation is made possible from earth and water; that birth can take place on the moun­tain, in the cave, on the tree; that animal ancestor is derived from the mother without the father or that tree ancestor is derived from the mother without the father.
When transition from the period of recollecting, to agricultural so­ciety was accomplished, the matrilineal patriarchal structure has ren-forced its ideology with these mythological elements. In the period when men specialized in hunting and shepherding, then we find that the animal ancestor is born from the mother; or under the influence of the woman (who makes possible recollecting and agriculture), birth takes place on the tree.
