This work proposes a psychodynatnic approach to phobic neuroses. The study concerns a case of social phobia and the materials used for the investigation are the Rorschach and T.A.T.. It begins with the psychoanalytical interview of the patient, gives the detailed presentation of the tests and tends to question the diagnosis of phobic neuroses in terms of Rorschach findings according to French School. When the Rorschach test is evaluated, the intensity of answers involving libidinal and agressive drives, the defence mechanisms used, the tendency to control with form and movement answers, the lack of color responses, the splitting of idea and affect responses and the existence of phobic objects and infantile figures support the idea that the patient uses phobia to handle her neurotic problems and anxiety.
