Türk Ceza Kanunu çocuğun cinsel istismarını çocuklara karşı gerçekleştirilen her türlü cinsel davranış olarak tanımlamaktadır. Çocuğun cinsel istismarının saptanması ve tanımlanması araştırmacılar için oldukça zor bir görevdir. Bu görevin yerine getirilmesi sırasında fiziksel ve ruhsal bulgulardan birlikte yararlanılmaktadır. Ancak bir çok olguda fiziksel bulgular bulunmamaktadır. Son yıllarda fiziksel bulgular yanında ruhsal bulguları destekleyen çocuk çizimlerinden de yaralanılması mahkemeler tarafından da kabul görmeye başlamıştır. Olgumuz da cinsel, fiziksel istismara ait bulgular saptanmış olup bu bulgular yanında ruhsal bulguları değerlendirmek amacı ile standart görüşme teknikleri ile birlikte çocuk çizimlerinden de yararlanılmıştır. Sunumumuzun amacı çocuğun fiziksel ve cinsel istismarının ruhsal değerlendirilmesinde çocuk çizimlerinin tanı koydurucu öneme sahip bulgular sağlayabileceğine dikkat çekmektir.

The Turkish Penal Code defines the sexual abuse of a child as every kind of sexual behavior that takes place against the child. It is an extremely difficult task for researchers to establish and define sexual abuse in children. To accomplish this task both physical and psychological evidence are used. However in many cases there is no physical evidence. In recent [year]s the courts have begun to accept that children's pictures are beneficial in supporting psychological findings in addition to physical findings. In our case in addition to findings that were determined to be related to sexual and physical abuse, psychological findings were also supported by the child's pictures together with standard interview techniques for the purpose of evaluation. The objective of our presentation is to draw attention to how important children's pictures can be to making a diagnosis in the psychological evaluation of a child for physical and sexual abuse.
