Antipsikotik Cevap ile Prolaktin Düzeyleri Arasındaki İlişkinin Araştırılması

Bu çalışmada, haloperidolun prolaktin düzeyi üzerindeki etkisi ile antipsikotik etkinliği arasındaki ilişki
araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla, şizofreni veya şizoaffektif bozukluk tanısı alan 15 hasta, 1., 2. ve 15. gün
prolaktin değerleri ve KPOÖ skorlarındaki değişme açısından karşılaştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak prolaktin
değerlerinin ilk 24 saat içinde anlamlı düzeyde artma eğilimi gösterdikleri, KPOÖ skorlarının ise 15 gün
sonra anlamlı düzeyde düşme eğilimi gösterdiği gözlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre akut dönemde
prolaktin değerleri ile "antipsikotik etkinlik" arasında nasıl bir ilişki olduğunu yorumlamak mümkün
olmamıştır.
The Relationship Between Response to Antipsychotics and Prolactin Levels
In this study, the relation between the antipsychotic efficacy of haloperidol and the effect of haloperidol on
prolaetin levels has been investigated. 15 patients diagnosed as schizoaffective disorder and
schizophrenia compared by means of prolactin levels and changes in BPRS scores for the 1th, 2nd, and
15th days. As a results, it has been observed that prolactin levels tended to increase within the first 24
hours whereas BPRS scores had a tendeney to decrease significantly after the fifteen days of treatment.
With regard to these findings, it was not possible to determine the nature of the relation between the
antipsychotic efficacy and prolactin levels during the acute period.
