Klinefelter sendromu, görülme sıklığı fazla olan genetik geçişli bir hastalıktır. Tipik fiziksel özelliklerinin dışında psikiyatrik belirtilere de sıkça rastlanmaktadır. Bu olgu sunumunda, paranoid içerikli hezeyan ve işitsel algı kusuru gibi psikotik semptomlar nedeniyle başvuran 30 yaşı nda bir olgunun Klinefelter sendromu tanısı alma süreci sunulmuştur. Amacımız hem bu sendromdaki psikiyatrik tabloları gözden geçirmek, hem de psikiyatrik değerlendirmede organik etyolojilerin önemini vurgulamaktır.

Klinefelter’s syndrome is a relatively common hereditary disease. Psychiatric symptoms are often seen beside of typical physical features. In this case report, diagnostic process of a 30 [year] old Klinefelter’s syndrome with patient who had been admitted to psychiatry unit because of paranoid delusions and auditory hallucinations is presented. The aim of this case report is both to review the psychiatric presentations of this syndrome and to emphasize the importance of organic ethiologic factors during psychiatric evaluation.
