Cinsel taciz, yetişkin bir kimsenin cinsel arzuları ve gereksinimi için çocuğu veya ergeni, cinsel bir nesne olarak kullanması olarak tanımlanabilir. Cinsel taciz, çocukta duygusal ve kognitif bozukluklara neden olur, gelişimi bozar. Bu yazıda, cinsel tacize uğradığını belirten yedi olgunun öyküsü özetlenmiş, gösterdikleri ortak noktalar, literatür ışığında değerlendirilmiştir. Cinsel taciz kurbanı pek çok olgu psikiyatrik yardım için başvuruda bulunsa bile, cinsel tacizi açıklamaktan kaçınmaktadır. Bu yazıda, cinsel taciz şüphesi olan olgularda üzerinde durulması gereken noktaların vurgulanması amaçlanmıştır

Child and adolescent sexual abuse may be defined as the use of a child as an object of gratification for adult sexual needs and desires. This is a sexual act imposed on a child who lacks emotional, maturational and cognitive development. In this article case histories of seven adolescent girls who reported sexual abuse have been summarized and their common characteristics are discussed according to the literature. It is possible to say that in most cases sexual abuse remains as secret, even victim has attempted to find psychatric help. The aim of this article is to emphasize the points to be investigated in questionable cases.
