Bu çalışmada 15-45 yaş grubundaki 95 iskemik inme olgusu, etyolojik yönden araştırılmıştır. Olguların 37'si kadın (% 38.9), 58i erkek (% 61.1) idi. Ortalama yaş 33.7 olarak bulunmuştur. Olgularda üre, şeker, sedimantasyon, tam kan sayımı, trombosit, Hb, Hct, protrombin zamanı, PTT, kanama ve pıhtılaşma zamanı ve lipid profiline bakılmıştır. ANA, paterji ve sifiliz testleri değerlendirilmiştir. Elektrokardiyografi, ekokardiyografi ve serebral anjiyografi yapılmıştır.
Olguların % 30.5'inde ateroskleroz, % 16.8 inde kalp kaynaklı emboli, % 13.6 smda ise hemotolojik nedenler iskemik inmenin nedeni olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Olguların % 22.1 inde inme nedeni saptanmamıştır.

In this study, 95 patients with ischemic cerebrovascular accidents, aged between 15 and 45 [year]s, wevre investigated etiologically 37 (38.9 %) of these patients were female and 58 (61.1 %) were male. Mean age was 33.7 urea, glucose, sedimentation rate, complete blood count, platelets, hemoglobin, hematocrit, protrombin time, partial thromboplastin time, bleeding time, coagulation time and lipid profile were done. ANA, pathergy tets and syphilis tests were evaluated. Electrocardiography, ecocardiography and cerebral angiography were performed.
The etiology of the cerebrovascular accident was found to be atherosclerotic in 30.5 %, embolic with cardiac origin in 16.8 %, and hematologic in 13.6 %. No etiologic factor was found in 22.1 % of the patients.
