Bu çalışmada Hodgkin ve Hodgkin dışı lenfoma tanısı konmuş, 50 olguda, tedavi öncesi ve sonrası hayat kaliteleri ile, durumluk kaygı düzeylerini psikososyal açıdan incelemeyi amaçladık. Tedavi öncesi ve sonrası hayat kalitelerinin yaş, eğitim ve Karnofsky Performans Statüsü ile istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı; fakat hastalığın evrelemesi açısından bir anlamlılık olmadığı bulunmuştur. Durumluk kaygı düzeyinin yaş, eğitim, hastalığın öznel tanımlanması ile istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı ilişkide olduğunu; kemoterapinin ve yan etkilerinin diğer tedavi şekillerine göre durumluk kaygı düzeyini daha çok etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Hastalar tarafından tedavi sonrası hayat kalitesi ile ilgili olarak belirtilen şikayetlerin en önemlilerinin enerji kaybı (% 58), alopesi (% 48), libido kaybı (% 46) ve bulantı (% 46) olduğudur.

In this study, we aimed to analyse the quality of before and after treatment and state anxiety level after the treatment in 50 patients newly diagnosed as having Hodgkin's disease and non Hodgkin lymphoma from the psychosocial point view. The quality of life before and after treatment is statistically related to age, education and Karnofsky Performance Status, but not with the stage of the disease. There is a statistically meaningful relation between the state anxiety level with age, education and the subjectif meaningful of the illnes. Chemotherapy and the side effects influence the state anxiety level more than the other treatment modalities; patients complained mostly from the loss of energy (% 58), alopecia (% 48), loss of libido (% 46) and nausea (% 46).
