Ergenler için Epidemiyolojik Araştırmalar Merkezi Depresyon Ölçeği - 10 Maddelik Versiyonu: Türkçeye Uyarlama Çalışması

Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, Ergenler için Epidemiyolojik Araştırmalar Merkezi Depresyon Ölçeği - 10 Maddelik Versiyonu'nun (CESDR-10)
Türkçeye uyarlaması, geçerlik ve güvenirlik değerlendirmesinin yapılmasıdır.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışma, 11-18 yaşlarında çocuk ve ergen psikiyatrisi polikliniğine başvuran 102 ergenden oluşan klinik örneklem ile 454
ortaokul - lise öğrencisinden oluşan toplum örneklemi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplama araçları olarak ergenler için CESDR-10, Çocuklar
için Depresyon Ölçeği (ÇDÖ), Çok Boyutlu Yaşam Doyum Ölçeği (ÇBYDÖ), Okul Çağı Çocukları için Duygulanım Bozuklukları ve Şizofreni
Görüşme Çizelgesi - Şimdi ve Yaşam Boyu Versiyonu ve demografik bilgi formu kullanılmıştır.
Bulgular: Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ölçeğin tek boyutta iyi bir uyum iyiliğine sahip olduğunu göstermiştir. Ayırt edici ve benzer ölçek
geçerliği değerlendirmesinde, tüm örneklem, toplum örneklemi ve klinik örneklem için CESDR-10 ile ÇBYDÖ ve ÇDÖ arasında güçlü
korelasyon katsayıları tespit edilmiştir. Ölçeğin; Cronbach alfa iç tutarlılık katsayısı tüm örneklem için 0,880, toplum örneklemi için 0,872 ve
klinik örneklem için 0,895 bulunmuştur. Test-tekrar test güvenirliği bakımından toplum örnekleminde 0,863, klinik örneklemde 0,940 olmak
üzere “çok güçlü” korelasyon değerleri saptanmıştır. Alıcı işlem karakteristikleri analizleri sonucunda CESDR-10’un kesme puanı 16 olarak
belirlenmiştir.
Sonuç: Çalışmamızın sonuçları değerlendirildiğinde, ergenler için CESDR-10’un Türkçe versiyonu geçerli ve güvenilir bulunmuştur.
The Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale - Revised 10 - Item Version for Adolescents:Turkish Adaptation Study
Objectives: The aim of this study is to adapt the 10-item version of the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale - Revised 10 - Item
Version for Adolescents (CESDR-10) into Turkish and to evaluate its validity and reliability.
Materials and Methods: The study was conducted with a clinical sample of 102 adolescents aged 11-18 years who applied to the child
and adolescent psychiatry outpatient clinic, and a community sample consisting of 454 secondary and high school students. CESDR-10 for
adolescents, Child Depression Inventory (CDI), the Brief Multidimensional Students’ Life Satisfaction Scale (BMSLSS), Kiddie Schedule for
Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School Age Children-Present and Lifetime Version, and demographic information form were used
as data collection tools.
Results: Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the scale had a fine goodness of fit with a single-factor structure. In the discriminant and
convergent validity assessment, strong correlation coefficients were found between CESDR-10, and BMSLSS and CDI for the whole sample,
community sample, and clinical sample. The Cronbach alpha internal consistency coefficient of the scale was found as 0.880 for the whole
sample, 0.872 for the community sample, and 0.895 for the clinical sample. In terms of test-retest reliability, “very strong” correlation values
were determined as 0.863 in the community sample and 0.940 in the clinical sample. As a result of receiver operating characteristic analysis,
the cut-off score of CESDR-10 was determined as 16.
Conclusion: When the results of our study were evaluated, Turkish version of the CESDR-10 for Adolescents was found to be valid and
reliable.
