Bu çalışma yaygın anksiyete bozukluğunda bilişsel ve davranışçı terapi müdahalelerinin çevrim içi ortamda uygulandığı ve bu müdahalelerin etkinliğinin bir vaka özelinde değerlendirildiği bir olgu sunumu çalışmasıdır. Bu çalışmada yaygın anksiyete bozukluğunda çevrim içi yürütülen bilişsel ve davranışçı terapi sürecinin aktarılarak bu terapinin etkinliğinin araştırılması ve literatüre katkı sağlanması amaçlanmaktadır. Uygulanan bilişsel ve davranışçı terapinin görüntülü görüşme uygulaması üzerinden çevrim içi yürütülmesi planlanmıştır. Uygulanan psikoterapi süreci; değerlendirme, psikoeğitim, bilişsel ve davranışçı müdahaleler ve yinelemeyi önleme seansları olmak üzere dört aşamadan oluşmaktadır. Danışanla haftada bir, 45-50 dakika süren, değerlendirme, psikoeğitim, bilişsel ve davranışsal müdahalelerden oluşan on iki seans gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca birer hafta arayla iki yinelemeyi önleme seansı ve birer aylık arayla iki izleme seansı gerçekleştirilmiştir. Danışanın belirtilerinin şiddeti yaygın anksiyete bozukluğu-7 ölçeği ile değerlendirilmiştir. Danışandan değerlendirme görüşmesinden ve ilk yinelemeyi önleme seansından sonra olmak üzere toplamda iki kere yaygın anksiyete bozukluğu-7 ölçeğini doldurması istenmiştir. Danışanın ilk ölçek puanı 17 iken son ölçek puanı 7 çıkmıştır. Süreç sonunda danışanın çevrim içi yürütülen bilişsel ve davranışçı terapiden fayda gördüğü sonucuna ulaşılmış ve sonuç literatür dikkate alınarak tartışılmıştır.

The current study presented a clinical case in which cognitive and behavioral therapy interventions were administered online for a client having a generalized anxiety disorder and the effectiveness of these interventions was evaluated on this specific case. This study aimed to contribute to the existing literature by determining the effectiveness of cognitive and behavioral therapy that is administered online for generalized anxiety disorder. The cognitive and behavioral therapy was planned to be carried out online through the video call application. The psychotherapy process consisted of four stages that are assessment, psychoeducation, cognitive and behavioral interventions, and relapse prevention sessions. Twelve sessions consisting of assessment, psychoeducation, and cognitive and behavioral interventions were held with the client once a week, each lasting 45-50 minutes. Two relapse prevention sessions at one-week intervals and two follow-up sessions at one-month intervals were also conducted. The severity of the client's symptoms was evaluated with the generalized anxiety disorder-7 scale. The client was asked to complete the generalized anxiety disorder-7 scale twice in total, after the evaluation session, and after the first relapse prevention session. While the client's first scale score was 17, the final scale score was 7. At the end of the process, it was concluded that the client benefited from online cognitive and behavioral therapy, and the result was discussed in the light of the literature.
