Amaç:Bu çalışmanın amacı YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezi veri tabanında bulunan, 2007-2020 (Haziran) tarihleri arasında Türkiye'de internet bağımlılığı ile ilgili yapılmış lisansüstü tezleri incelemektir. Yöntem: Çalışma amaçlı örnekleme ile seçilen 126 tezden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmada betimsel içerik analizi yöntemi ve veri toplama tekniği olarak doküman analizi kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Tez Sınıflama Formu kullanılmıştır. Veri analizi için frekans, yüzde değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Bulgular:Yapılan çalışma sonucunda en çok çalışılan temaların demografik-sosyodemografik özellikler, kişisel özellikler olduğu, yüksek lisans tez sayısının doktora tezlerinden daha çok olduğu ve en çok çalışma yapılan yılın 2019 olduğu bulunmuştur. İncelenen tezlerde en çok nicel yöntem ve basit seçkisiz-rastgele örnekleme kullanılmıştır. En çok tercih edilen örneklem büyüklüğü 301-1000 kişidir. En çok tercih edilen örneklemin ortaöğretim öğrencileri olduğu görülmüştür. Tutum/algı/kişilik/yetenek testleri en çok kullanılan veri toplama araçlarıdır. Ayrıca nicel veri analiz yöntemleri nitel veri analiz yöntemlerinden daha çok kullanılmıştır. Sonuç:İnternet bağımlılığı ile ilgili betimsel düzeyde çalışmalardan öteye daha derinlemesine çalışmalar yapılmasına ve önleme-müdahale yöntemlerini oluşturmasına ihtiyaç vardır.

Objective: The aim of this study is to examine the postgraduate theses on internet addiction in Turkey between 2007-2020 (June) in the database of YÖK National Thesis Center. Method: The study consists of 126 theses selected by sampling purpose. In the study, document analysis was used as descriptive content analysis method and data collection technique. Thesis Classification Form was used as data collection tool. Frequency and percentage values were calculated for data analysis. Results: As a result of the study, it was found that the most studied themes were demographic-sociodemographic characteristics, personal characteristics, the number of master's theses was more than doctoral theses, and the most studied year was 2019. Quantitative method and simple random-random sampling were mostly used in the examined theses. The most preferred sample size is 301-1000 people. It was seen that the most preferred sample was secondary school students. Attitude/perception/personality/ability tests are the most used data collection tools. In addition, quantitative data analysis methods were used more than qualitative data analysis methods. Conclusion:There is a need to carry out more in-depth studies on internet addiction beyond descriptive studies and to establish prevention-intervention methods.
