Bu çalışmada Alopesi Areata ile depresyon arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın örneklemi Alopesi Areata tanısı almış 15 kişi ve Alopesi Areata tanısı almamış 15 kişi olmak üzere toplam 30 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak bilgilendirilmiş gönüllü onam formu, sosyodemografik bilgi formu, yarı yapılandırılmış psikanalitik yönelimli öngörüşme formu, Rorschach Mürekkep Lekeleri Testi ve Beck Depresyon Envanteri (BDE) kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler Mann Whitney U testi ile analiz edilmiştir. İki grup arasında Beck Depresyon Envanteri puanları incelendiğinde, istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark olduğu tespit edilmiştir. İki grup arasında, depresif endişeyi ölçmek için Rorschach Mürekkep Lekeleri Testi’nde belirlenen Dbl, Ad+Hd, C’, F+/-, E yanıtları arasında istatistiki olarak anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Rorschach Mürekkep Lekeleri Testi’nin erken dönem anne imgesine gönderme yapan kartları niteliksel olarak incelendiğinde güven vermeyen, korkutucu içerikte anne imgesi yanıtları tespit edilmiştir. Manik savunmalara ve bedenselleştirmeye başvurma davranışlarını ölçmek için belirlenen kob, C, CF, anatomi yanıtları arasında da iki grup arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, bakım verenin erken dönem kapsayıcı işlevlerindeki yetersizlikler sonucu ortaya çıkan depresif endişe ile Alopesi Areata semptomları ilişkilidir.

In this study, the relationship between Alopecia Areata and depression was examined. Thirty people, 15 diagnosed with Alopecia Areata and 15 not diagnosed with Alopecia Areata, participated in the study. An informed consent form, sociodemographic information form, psychoanalytically oriented semi-structured interview form, Rorschach Inkblot Test, and Beck Depression Inventory were used. Obtained data were analyzed with the Mann Whitney U test. Two groups significantly differed in terms of the Beck Depression Inventory scores. A statistically significant difference was found between the two groups in terms of Dbl, Ad+Hd, C', F+/-, E responses determined in the Rorschach Inkblot Test to measure depressive anxiety. When the cards of the Rorschach Inkblot Test implicating the early mother image were analyzed qualitatively, responses mainly included insecure and scary mother images. There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of kob, C, CF, and anatomy responses determined to measure the behaviors of resorting to manic defenses and somatization. According to the results of the analysis, depressive anxiety, resulting from the deficiencies in the containing function of the caregiver, is associated with the symptoms of Alopecia Areata.
