Bu çalışmada EMDR yöntemi ile ele alınan bir vaka sunumu bulunmaktadır. EMDR, resim (imge), olumsuz biliş, olumlu biliş, duygular- rahatsızlık düzeyi, beden duyumları göz hareketleri olmak üzere temel ögelerden ve 8 aşamadan oluşur. Bu çalışmada daha önceden farklı bir konuda EMDR ile uzun süreli çalışılmış bir danışanın, iş yerinde yaşadığı bir problemden dolayı tekrar danışmaya gelmesi ve sadece yaşadığı olay üzerinden EMDR ile dört oturum çalışılarak danışanın rahatsızlığının giderilmesi yer almaktadır. Oturumlar sonunda danışan, iş yerinde eski işlevselliğini kazandığını ve olaydan dolayı rahatsız hissetmediğini belirtmektedir.

In this study, there is a case report handled with the EMDR method. EMDR consists of basic elements such as picture (image), negative cognition, positive cognition, emotions-discomfort level, body sensations and eye movements and 8 stages. In this study, there is a client who had worked with EMDR for a long time on a different subject, coming to counseling again due to a problem experienced at work, and relieving the patient's discomfort by working four sessions with the EMDR method only on the event experienced. At the end of the sessions, the client states that she has regained her former functionality at work and does not feel uncomfortable due to the event.
