Amaç: Araştırmada, lise öğrencilerinin ebeveyn akademik başarı baskısı ve desteği ile akademik güdülenmesi arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Veriler çevrimiçi görüşme yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Gereç ve Yöntem: İlişkisel tarama modelinde olan araştırma; Iğdır ilinde, 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılında yapıldı. Araştırmanın evrenini; 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılında Iğdır il merkezindeki farklı lise türlerinde eğitim gören öğrenciler oluşturdu. Basit rastgele örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak 657 öğrenciyle çalışıldı. Verilerin toplanmasında, demografik bilgi formu, Akademik Güdülenme Ölçeği (AGÖ) ve ebeveyn akademik başarı baskısı ve desteği ölçeği (EABBDÖ) kullanıldı. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin, %56,9’u kız, %37,3’ü 9. sınıfken %49,6’sı Anadolu lisesinde öğrenim görmekte idi. Objectives: The aim of the study is to determine the academic motivation of high school students and the factors of parental academic success pressure and support. Data were obtained through online interview. Materials and Methods: This descriptive, correlational screening study was conducted in the province of Igdir in the 2020-2021 academic year. The universe of the research; consisted of students studying in different types of high schools in Igdir city center in the 2020-2021 academic year. By means of simple random sampling 657 students were studied. Demographic information form, Academic Motivation Scale (AMS), and parental academic achievement pressure and support scale (PAAPSS) were used to collect data.
