Bruselloz önemli bir halk sağlığı sorunu, nörobruselloz ise önemli bir ayırıcı tanı seçeneğidir. Tıbbi teknolojinin gelişimi, bu konuda da patoloji çalışmalarını anımsatacak denli yorumlar yapmayı olanaklı kılmaktadır. Bu yorumlar olgulann kategorize edilmesinde; tedavinin belirlenmesinde ve prognozun ön görülmesinde yardımcı olur.

Brucellosis is an important public health problem and neurobrucellosis is a serious diagnostic challenge. The improvement of medical technology considerably enables us to reach the diagnosis as far as pathological evaluation. These new studies and their results make it possible to categorise the patients, choose the management and predict the prognosis. Here, we report a case of chronic neurobrucellosis with severe neurological sequela.
