Bu çalışma, Cary Joji Fukunaga’nın (2015), Beasts of No Nation filmi ana karakter üzerinden politik psikolojik bakış açısıyla analiz edilmektedir. Beasts of No Nation filmi başrollerini Idris Elba, Ama K. Abebrese, Abraham Attah, Grace Nortey, David Dontoh, ve Opeyemi Fagbohungbe paylaştığı, çekimleri Gana'da yapılan bir film olup filmin senaryosu Nijeryali yazar Uzodinma Iweala'nın aynı adlı kitabından uyarlanmıştır. Beasts of No Nation'ın başlığında "hiçbir ulus" ifadesine atıfta bulunulması, genel bir Afrika ulusu, kıtayı oluşturan tüm ülkelerin tekil bir coğrafi ve siyasi varlık halinde birleşmesi olarak okunabilir. Hikaye de, Batı Afrika ülkesinde bir iç savaş patlak vermektedir. Savaşın henüz gelmemiş olduğu tampon bir bölgede kendi halinde, onu seven ailesiyle mu tlu bir çocukluk geçiren Agu’nun hikayesini anlatılmaktadır. In this paper, the main character from Cary Joji Fukunaga's 2015 movie Beasts of No Nation is looked at from a political and psychological point of view. Beasts of No Nation is a movie that was filmed in Ghana and stars Idris Elba, A ma K. Abebrese, Abraham Attah, Grace Nortey, David Dontoh, and Opeyemi Fagbohungbe. The screenplay is based on the same named book by Nigerian author Uzodinma Iweala. The word "no nation" in the title of Beasts of No Nation can be read as a reference to a general African nation, which would be all the countries on the continent working together as one geographical and political entity. In the story, the West African country has a civil war. The story of Agu, who grew up with a loving family and had a happy childhood, takes place in a buffer zone where the war hasn't started yet. Agu has not only seen his father die and his mother and sister go missing, but he also has to live a violent and brutal life. This movie shows what it was like to be a child soldier in Africa and live, fight, and kill. Based on these scenes, the main character's experiences and their different effects are discussed about from a psychological point of view.
