Çalışmanın amacını, çok kültürlü perspektif ile temel sistemik kuramların (psikoanalitik aile terapisi, yapısal aile terapisi, stratejik aile terapisi, insancıl aile terapisi) aile yapısına bakışları ve temel kavramlarının ülkemizde nasıl ele alınabileceği Vavien filmi ile somutlaştırılarak ele almaktır. Çok kültürlü psikolojik danışma yaklaşımlarında temel alınan kuramların bireyci batı kültürünün değerlerini yansıtmakta olduğu, bu kuramların evrensel olarak kabul edilmesinin uygun olmadığı belirtilmektedir. Temel sistemik kuramlar kendi bakış açılarından işlevsel/işlevsel olmayan aile örüntülerini değerlendirmeye ilişkin bilgi sağlar. Ancak kuramlardan yararlanırken; kuramların hangi ülkenin kültürel değerlerinde, ne zaman, hangi ortamlarda ve kuramcıların mesleki kimliklerinin dikkate alınması çok kültürlü bakış açısında son derece önemlidir. Vavien filmi analizi ile Orta Karadeniz-İç Anadolu bölgesinde yer alan Tokat ilinin kültürel değerlerini benimsemiş üç kişilik çekirdek ailenin sistemini değerlendirirken temel sistemik kuramlar kavramlarından nasıl yararlanılacağı okuyucu ile paylaşılmıştır.

The aim of the study is to discuss the perspectives of the multicultural perspective and basic systemic theories (psychoanalytic family therapy, structural family therapy, strategic family therapy, humanistic family therapy) on family structure and how their basic concepts can be handled in our country by analyzing the movie Vavien. It is stated that the theories based on multicultural counseling approaches reflect the values of individualist Western culture and that it is not appropriate to accept these theories as universal. Basic systemic theories provide information on assessing functional/dysfunctional family patterns from their point of view. However, while making use of these theories, from a multicultural point of view, it is extremely important that the cultural values of the countries, when and in which environments these theories were developed and the professional identities of the theorists should be taken into account. With the analysis of the Vavien film, it was shared with the reader how to benefit from the concepts of basic systemic theories while evaluating the system of the three-people nuclear family, which has adopted the cultural values of the city of Tokat, located in the Central Black Sea-Central Anatolia region.
