Bireysel psikolojik danışma sürecinde amaç oluşturma basamağı oldukça önemlidir. Psikolojik danışmanlar amaç oluşturma basamağında danışan ile birlikte amaçlar oluşturur ve psikolojik danışman kuram yönelimine uygun tekniklerle bu amaçlara ulaşmaya çalışır. Aile danışmanlığında ise aile danışmanı ailenin getirdiği probleme uygun amaçları kendi kuramsal görüşüne uygun seçer ve ailelere bu amaçları gerçekleştirmek için yönergeler ile davranışsal ödevler sunar. Bu çalışmada, amaç oluşturma basamağının bireysel psikolojik danışma ve aile danışmanlığı sürecinde kullanımı ile kuramsal açıdan değerlendirilmesi ele alınacaktır

In the process of individual psychological counseling, goal setting step is very important. The therapists form goals together with the client in the goal setting step and the therapist tries to achieve these goals by techniques appropriate to the theory orientation. In family counseling, the therapist chooses the appropriate purposes for the problem brought by the family in accordance with his own theoretical view, and presents instructions and behavioral tasks to families to achieve these goals. In this study, with the use of individual counseling and family counseling in the process of evaluating the goal setting steps it will be discussed from a theoretical point of view.
