Ön Ergenlerin Umut Düzeylerinin Ebeveynlik Stilleri Açısındanİncelenmesi

Bu çalışmanın amacı ön ergenlerde ebeveynlik stilleri ile umut arasındaki ilişkinin
incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 680 (340 ön ergen, 340 ebeveyn) katılımcı
oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda çalışma ilişkisel tarama modeli
çerçevesinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada Çocuklarda Umut Ölçeği ve Çok Boyutlu
Ebeveynlik Stillerini Değerlendirme Ölçeği (Ebeveyn Formu) veri toplama aracı olarak
kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucu umudun proaktif ebeveynlik, olumlu pekiştirme, samimi ilişki
ve destekleyici yaklaşım ebeveynlik stilleri ile pozitif yönde; düşmanlık, düşük kontrol ve
fiziksel kontrol ebeveynlik stilleri ile ise negatif yönde anlamlı ilişki içinde olduğunu
göstermiştir.
Investigation of Hope Levels of Early Adolescents in terms ofParenting Styles
The aim of the study was to examine the relationship between parenting styles and
hope among early adolescents. The study group of the research consists of 680 participants
(340 early adolescents, 340 their parents). In line with purpose of the research, the study was
conducted by descriptive model. In the study, the scales of The Children’s Hope Scale and The
Multidimensional Assessment of Parenting Scale (Parent Version) were used as instrument.
The findings of the study showed that hope was positively associated with parenting styles of
proactive parenting, positive reinforcement, warmth, and supportiveness; it was negatively
associated with parenting styles of hostility, lax control and physical control among early
adolescents.
