Bu araştırmada okul psikolojik danışmanlarının “mutluluk” kavramına ilişkin bilişsel kurgularının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda 2019 – 2020 eğitim öğretim yılında Muş il sınırları içerisinde bulunan farklı okul kademelerindeki (anaokulu, ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise) devlet okullarında görev yapan 5’i kadın, 5’i erkek olmak üzere toplam 10 okul psikolojik danışmanından veri toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın odağı, kişide var olanı ortaya çıkarmak olduğundan nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenolojik desen kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubundan elde edilen veriler yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniklerinden biri olan “Repertory Grid Formu” ile elde edilmiştir. Verilerin çözümlenmesi sonucunda katılımcılara ait 5 adet farklı bilişsel kurgu grubu oluşturulmuştur (“Aile”, “Başarı ve Ekonomik Durumla İlişkili Faktörler”, “Sağlık, Huzur ve Ruhsal Tatminler”, “Aşk, Sevgi ve Sosyal İlişkiler” ve “Eğlence Aktiviteleri ve Bir Hobiye Sahip Olma”). Elde edilen bulgulardan oluşturulan bilişsel kurguların önem derecesi dikkate alındığında kadın ve erkek okul psikolojik danışmanlarının mutluluk kavramına ilişkin ilk kurguları aynı olurken diğer bilişsel kurgular farklılık göstermiştir. Kadın ve erkek okul psikolojik danışmanlarının mutluluğa ilişkin ilk bilişsel kurguları “Aile” olurken bu bilişsel kurgu grubundan sonra yer alan dört bilişsel kurgu grupları farklılaşmaktadır. Elde edilen bulgular benzer araştırma sonuçları ve alanyazın kapsamında tartışılmış, uygulayıcı ve araştırmacılara öneriler sunulmuştur.

In this study, it was aimed to determine the cognitive constructs of school psychological counselors regarding the concept of "happiness". For this purpose, data were collected from a total of 10 school counselors, 5 female and 5 male, working in public schools at different school levels (kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and high school) in the province of Mus in the 2019-2020 academic year. As the focus of the research is to reveal what exists in the person, phenomenological design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The data obtained from the study group were collected with the "Repertory Grid Form", which is one of the structured interview techniques. At the end of the analysis of the data, 5 different cognitive construct groups belonging to the participants were formed (“Family”, “Factors Associated with Success and Economic Status”, “Health, Peace and Spiritual Satisfaction”, “Love, Affection and Social Relationships” and “Entertainment Activities and Having a Hobby”). Considering the importance of the cognitive constructs formed from the findings obtained, the initial constructs of the male and female school counselors regarding the concept of happiness were the same, while the other cognitive constructs differed. While the first cognitive constructs of male and female school counselors regarding happiness are “Family”, the four cognitive construct groups that take place after this cognitive construct group differ. The findings were discussed within the scope of similar research results and the literature, and suggestions were presented to practitioners and researchers.
