Bu araştırma, 2015-2016 yılları arasında Azerbaycan’ın başkenti Bakü’de, 14-17 yaş grubundaki evden kaçan er- genleri, evden kaçmaya iten faktörlerin araştırılmasını, bu faktörlerin hangi nedenlerden kaynaklandığını, bununla beraber, evden kaçan ergenlerin karşılaşabilecekleri risk faktörlerini hem sosyal, hem de sosyo-psikolojik bakış açısıyla değerlendirmeyi ve konuyla ilgili yapılması gereken hususlara dikkat çekmeyi amaçlamaktadır.

This research is aimed to investigate the factors driving the adolescents at the age of 14-17 who ran away from home to run away, the causes of these factors, and the risk factors faced by the adolescents who ran away from home both from social and socio-psychological perspectives in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku between 2015-2016 and to draw attention to the points related to the subject that were done or have to be done so far. The research, is carried out using Grounded Theory and the Constructivist form which is a part of it. A total of 26 people were interviewed. Among the participants are 14 adolescents who run away from the house, 6 of the adolescents families\mothers who run away from the house and 6 of them are experts working with the ado- lescents who run away from the house. There are many reasons that detach adolescents from home and these reasons vary according to the meaning the adolescent attach to the society he lives in. The runaway behavior of the adolescents occurs as a result of negativities in the social institutions in which they exist, namely the family (conflict and violence, lack of love and interest, com-munication problem), school (communication problem) and environment (negative role model and social environ- ment) and as a result of combination of these negativities with the effects of adolescence. In addition, the street life, street arrangement starts from inability to realize the negativity arose in one of the institutions formed around the adolescent (family, school and social environment) and the negativity that existed inside other institutions gradually pushing adolescents more “out”, “to the street”. At the root of the problems is that the people are focusing only on their own world, thinking “only live for myself” in the family, at school, in the society, is. The alienation of people from face-to-face communication due to social networks are seen not only in the society, but also in the family first of all. The process of change in the society and the negativities in this process are pointing to the transition from “WE” towards “I”.
