5. sınıf öğrencilerine uygulanan değerler eğitimi odaklı grup rehberliği çalışmasının etkililiğini incelemek amacıyla hazırlanan nicel yaklaşımın deneysel desenlerinden zayıf deneysel tek grup ön test– son test deseni kullanılan bu çalışmada değerler eğitimi odaklı grup rehberliği oturumlarının grup üyeleri üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştır- manın çalışma grubu 2019-2020 eğitim-öğretim yılında, Sakarya’nın Erenler ilçesinde, bir devlet okulunda 5. Sınıfta öğrenim gören 10 kişilik bir deney grubundan oluşmaktadır. Çalışmada Beldağ, Özdemir ve Nalçacı (2016) tarafından geliştirilen Değerler Eğitimi Ölçeği deney grubuna uygulama öncesi ve sonrası ön test/son test olarak uygulanmıştır. Değerler Eğitimi Odaklı Grup Rehberliği Programı 10 oturumdan oluşan bir programdır. Verilerin analizinde deney grubunun ön test- son testleri arasındaki farkı belirlemek amacıyla, örneklem sayısının düşük olması nedeniyle para- metrikolmayantestlerdenWilcoxonİşaretliSıralarTestikullanılmıştır.Tekgrupöntest-sontestmodelinderastgelebir gruba bağımsız değişken uygulaması yapıldıktan sonra bu grubun ölçme aracından aldığı ön test-son test puanlarının aritmetik ortalaması arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunursa bu sonucun uygulamanın etkili olduğu anlamına geldiği ifade edilmektedir. Araştırma sonucunda deney grubunun ön test/son test puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark olduğu belirlenmiştir (z = -1,990, p= ,047). Bir başka deyişle uygulanan değerler eğitimi odaklı grup rehberliği programının etkili olduğu ve grup üyelerinin değer kazanımında olumlu etkiye sahip olduğu ifade edilebilir. Araştırmanın bulguları ilgili literatür ışığında tartışılmıştır.

In this study, in which weak experimental single-group pretest-posttest design, one of the experimental designs of the quantitative approach, which was prepared to examine the effectiveness of the values education-oriented group guidance study applied to 5th grade students, was used, the effect of group guidance sessions focused on values education on group members was examined. The study group of the research consists of an experimental group of 10 students studying in the 5th grade in a public school in Erenler district of Sakarya in the 2019-2020 academic year. In the study, the Values Education Scale developed by Beldag?, O¨zdemir and Nalc¸aci (2016) was applied to the experimental group as a pre-test/post-test before and after the experiment. Values Education Focused Group Guidance Program is a program consisting of 10 sessions. In order to determine the difference between the pre-test and post-tests of the experimental group in the analysis of the data, the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, which is one of the non-parametric tests, was used due to the low sample size. In the single-group pre-test-post-test model, after applying the independent variable to a random group, if there is a significant difference between the arithmetic mean of the pretest-posttest scores of this group from the measurement tool, it is stated that this result means that the application is effective. As a result of the research, it was determined that there was a significant difference between the pretest/posttest scores of the experimental group (z = -1,990, p= ,047). In other words, it can be stated that the applied values education focused group guidance program is effective and has a positive effect on the value acquisi- tion of the group members. The findings of the study were discussed in the light of the relevant literature.
