Bu araştırma ile nomofobi konusu üzerine yazılmış lisansüstü tezlerin yapısal olarak incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma doküman analizi yöntemiyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın evreni olarak Türkiye’deki üniversitelerde lisansüstü düzeyde çalışılan ve Yüksek Öğretim Kurumunun internet ortamındaki resmi sayfasının “Tez Merkezi” bölümünde yayınlanmış tezlerden “nomofobi” konusunu içeren tüm tezler alınmıştır. Konu ile ilgili olarak çalışılan yirmi yedi tez yayımlandıkları yıl, yayımlandıkları üniversite, yayımlandıkları enstitü, akademik seviyesi, araştırmaların yöntemi, araştırmaların modeli, örneklemelerin türü, çalışma grubu ya da evren/örneklem tanımı, veri toplama araçları ve veri analiz yöntemleri bakımından incelemeye tabi tutulmuştur. Çalışmanın sonucu olarak son iki yılda nomofobi konusu üzerine çalışılan tez sayısının arttığı tespit edilmiştir. Nomofobi konusu üzerine çalışılan tezler daha çok sosyal bilimler enstitülerinde ve yüksek lisans seviyesinde nicel araştırma yöntemiyle yapılmıştır. Tezler çalışma grubu ya da evren/örneklem bakımından incelendiğinde çoğunlukla “basit rastgele” örneklemenin kullanıldığı ve yükseköğretim ve ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin çalışma grubu olarak seçildiği tespit edilmiştir. Veri analiz yöntemi olarak da en fazla ANOVA’nın kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir.

With this research, it is aimed to structurally examine the postgraduate theses written on nomophobia. The study was carried out using document analysis method. As a universe all theses including the subject of "nomophobia" were taken from the theses published in the "Thesis Center" section of the official web page of the Education Institution. Theses studied on the subject were examined in terms of the year they were published, the university they were published, the institute they were published in, their academic level, the research method, the research model, the type of the sampling, the study group or the population/sample definition, data collection tools and data analysis methods. As a result of the study, it has been determined that the number of theses on nomophobia has increased in the last two years. Theses on nomophobia were mostly done in social sciences institutes and graduate level by quantitative research method. When the theses were examined in terms of study group or population / sample, it was found that mostly "simple random" sampling was used and higher education and secondary education students were selected as the study group. It has been determined that ANOVA is mostly used as a data analysis method.
