Bu çalışmada yetişkinlerde mükemmeliyetçilik ve cinsel mitler arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma, 18 yaş üzeri 369 kadın ve 138 erkek olmak üzere toplam 507 kişinin katılımı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak demografik bilgi formu, Çok Boyutlu Mükemmeliyetçilik Ölçeği ve Cinsel Mitler Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda ulaşılan veriler, SPSS programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre katılımcıların Çok Boyutlu Mükemmeliyetçilik Ölçeği puanları ile Cinsel Mitler Ölçeği puanları arasında pozitif yönlü, orta düzey bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Demografik değişkenler açısından katılımcıların ÇBMÖ puanlarında cinsiyet, anne tutumu ve baba tutumuna göre, CMÖ puanlarında ise cinsiyet, medeni durum, eğitim durumu ve anne tutumuna göre anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonuçları ilgili literatür çerçevesinde tartılmış ve bazı öneriler sunulmuştur.

In this study, it was aimed to examine the relationship between perfectionism and sexual myths in adults. The study was conducted with the participation of a total of 507 people, 369 women and 138 men over the age of 18. Demographic information form, Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale and Sexual Myths Scale were used as data collection tools in the study. The data were analyzed using the SPSS program. According to the results of the study, a positive, moderate relationship was found between the Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale scores and the Sexual Myths Scale scores of the participants. In terms of demographic variables, significant differences were found in the Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale scores of the participants according to gender, mother attitude and father attitude, and Sexual Myths Scale scores according to gender, marital status, educational status and mother attitude. The results of the research have been discussed within the framework of the relevant literature and some suggestions have been made.
