Amaç: Dikkat eksikliği hiperaktivite bozukluğu (DEHB) tanısı konan çocuklara affektif ve bilişsel zihin kuramı becerisini değerlendiren Gaf Tanıma Testi (GTT) uygulanması, tipik gelişim gösteren çocuklarla karşılaştırılması ve psikometrik özelliklerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Yöntem: Araştırmanın örneklemini 9-17 yaşları arasındaki 127 DEHB’li çocuk ve tipik gelişim gösteren 9-17 yaşları arasındaki 97 çocuk oluşturmuştur. DEHB grubundan 49 çocuğa ve kontrol grubundan 83 çocuğa dört hafta sonra test tekrar uygulanmıştır. Tüm olgulara GTT, Gözlerden Zihin Okuma Testi (GZOT) uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin güvenilirliğini değerlendirmek amacıyla test-tekrar test yöntemi ve Cronbach alfa iç tutarlılık analizi kullanılmıştır. Testin dış geçerliliğini denetlemek amacıyla korelasyon analizi yapıldı. Testin DEHB varlığını belirlemedeki başarısını değerlendirmek amacıyla ROC eğrisinden faydalanıldı. Bulgular: DEHB ve kontrol grubu arasında GTT ve GZOT puanları açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark saptanmıştır (p<0.001). Ölçeğin güvenilirliğini belirlemek için hesaplanan Cronbach alfa iç tutarlılık katsayısı 0.78 olarak bulunmuştur. Her üç GTT puan türü için de sınıf içi korelasyon katsayısı 0.8’in üzerinde bulundu. İlk ve tekrar test sonuçlarını değerlendirdiğimizde, tüm öykülerin uyum oranı 0.7’nin üzerinde saptandı (p<0.001). GTT ve GZOT puanları arasında pozitif korelasyon saptandı (r=0.461, p<0.001). Ölçeğin kesme puanı 15.5 olarak bulundu. Sonuç: Bu bulgular, GTT Çocuk Formunun Türkçe uyarlamasının iyi psikometrik niteliklere sahip olduğunu ve ileri çalışmalar için kullanılabileceğini göstermektedir. Objective: This study aims to investigate the adaptation of Turkish version of Faux Pas Recognition Test Child Version (FPR) that evaluates affective and cognitive theory of mind skills, and the psychometric properties of the test. Methods: The sample of the study consists of 127 children aged 9-17 with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and 97 children aged 9-17 with typical development. After four weeks, 49 children from the ADHD group and 83 children from the control group were retested. FPR, Reading the Mind in the Eyes Test (RMET) was applied to all participants. Test-retest method and Cronbach’s alpha internal consistency analysis were used to evaluate the reliability of the scale. Correlation analysis was performed to check the external validity of the test. The ROC curve was used to evaluate its success in detecting the presence of ADHD. Results: A statistically significant difference was found between ADHD and control groups in terms of FPR and RMET scores (p<0.001). Cronbach’s alpha internal correlation coefficient calculated to determine the reliability of the scale was found as a=0.78. Intraclass correlation coefficient for all three FPR scores was found to be above 0.8. When we evaluated the first and retest results, the concordance rate of all the stories was found to be above 0.7 (p<0.001). There was a positive correlation between FPR and RMET scores (r=0.461, p<0.001). The cut-off score of the scale was found as 15.5. Conclusion: These findings show that the Turkish version of the FPR child version has good psychometric qualities and can be used for further studies.
