Bu çalışmada bağışıklık sistemine dair bir rahatsızlık olan Haşimoto hastalığı tanısı almış iki kadın hastanın projektif test bulgularından ve klinik görüşmelerinde dikkati çeken bazı hususlardan hareketle ruhsal süreçleri, erken dönem travmatik yaşantıları çercevesinde ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre kadınsı olana ve anneliğe dair iletimde olası travmatik unsurların yanısıra depresif bir duygulanım ve ayrıca duyumsal imgelere yönelme ile narsisistik kırılganlık ve temsil kapasitesinde yetersizlikler bulunmuştur.

This article takes a closer look at two women diagnosed with Hashimoto’'s, an automimune disorder, from a psychological perspective and in lieu with their past traumatic experiences, in the scope of results collected from projective tests as well as clinical interviews. Findings demonstrated that, in addition to potential traumas regarding femininity and the mother-daughter bond, these women presented a depressive affect, combined with a gravitation towards sensory images, narcissistic fragility and inadaquacies in their representation capacity.
