Psikoloji insanın yaşam dönemlerini evreler halinde ele almaktadır. Bu evrelerden birisi de ergenliktir. Kimlik kazanımının gerçekleştiği dönem içinde geliştirilen ve normalleştirilen davranışların önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir. Ergenlerin algıladıkları sosyal desteğin ve problem çözme becerileri arasındaki ilişkilerinde dönem içinde ele alınması gereken değişkenler olduğu düşünülmektedir. Araştırma örneklemini 108 Kız 142 Erkek olmak üzere toplam 250 ergen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada kişisel bilgi formu, Problem Çözme Envanteri (PÇE) ve Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği (ÇBASDÖ) kullanılmış ve Spss ile gerekli analizler yapılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına bakıldığında değişkenlerin cinsiyet ve kalınan yere göre anlamlı şekilde farklılaştığı ve sosyal desteğin problem çözme becerilerini yordadığı görülmektedir. Bilgiler doğrultusunda birtakım öneriler sunulmaktadır.

Psychology addresses the life cycle of man in stages. One of these stages is adolescence. It is thought that the relationship between the social support perceived by adolescents and their problem solving skills are variables that should be addressed during the period. The sample of there search consists of 250 adolescence, 108 girls and 142 boys. In the research, personal information form, Problem Solving Inventory (PSI) and Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale were used and necessary analyzes were done with Spss. When the findings of the research are examined, it is seen that the variables differ significantly according to gender and location and social support predicts problem solving skills. Some suggestions are presented in line with the information.
