Ruhsal rahatsızlıkları olan bireyleri istemleri dışında hastaneye yatırmak önemli hukuki ve etik sorunlara neden olabilecek bir konudur. Son zamanlarda dünyada ve ülkemizde konu ile ilgili birtakım gelişmeler yaşanmaktadır. Bu yazıda konu ile ilgili temel tartışmalar, dünya ülkelerindeki ve ülkemizdeki gelişmeler yansıtılmaya çalışılmıştır.
